So the gradient is probably the only form of nail art I can do with my eyes closed. Even on my first try I nailed it (pun intended). So I knew for this challenge I had to do something a little more exciting than just a plain old gradient.
I started out by doing a gradient of Julep Nina (horrible formula by the way) and Essie DJ Play That Song. Then I laid down some striping tape and did another gradient of JulieG Tangerine Dream and Crushed Candy. I'd never done a textured gradient before but always liked the look (plus I love textured polish in general). I need to get some more of those Zoya PixieDusts so I can do this more often!
Check out today's other awesome gradients!
I love this idea! I am going to have to try it out at some point :) one of the best things about this challenge is how many new ideas I'm getting out of it!
ReplyDeleteSo, I did my gradient with both JulieG and zoya pixiedusts, and the JulieG actually worked better! Now maybe it's because I love those little mirror glitters, but just as a heads up :-p
ReplyDeleteGood to know! Yours is fantastic by the way!
DeleteVery unique!! I am in envy of your gradient talent.
ReplyDelete#yes
ReplyDeleteEver since I got a few of the textured polishes, I've been meaning to do a gradient, and this is just magnificent. :D
